BOIL WATER NOTICE

Boil Your Water Before Drinking or Food Preparation to Avoid Illness

Due to the recent water outage, which occurred on 11/16/2024 the Apple Valley Heights County Water District is advising customers to only use boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes as a safety precaution to avoid stomach or intestinal illness. The affected area includes Portions of Allegra Vista, Mesa Vista, Buena Vista, Flora Vista, Central Road, Roundup Way, and Ocotillo Way.

We will inform you when tests show that water is safe to drink, and you no longer need to boil your water. We anticipate the water will return and the distribution system will be re-pressurized by 07:00 PM. Afterward, we will collect bacteriological water samples to ensure the quality of the water.

If you have questions about other uses of tap water, such as bathing and dish washing, please call

760-247-7330 or read this guidance: https://www.cdc.gov/healthywater/
